Hello, I'm Phill Evans. I am a certified clinical hypnotist based in Stoke-on-Trent in the UK. I am registered and certified with the International Hypnosis Association (IHA), and the International Certification Board of Coaches and Hypnotists (ICBCH).

I first became interested in hypnosis and self-hypnosis over thirty years ago when I was studying at university, and I watched a stage hypnosis act in the Students Union bar. This started a life-long interest in hypnosis which I used for personal development and to help out friends and family with issues in their lives.

My professional career before hypnosis was as a teacher of Computer Science and IT, which ultimately led to me becoming a Headteacher. Alongside my teaching career I was a Principal Examiner for GCSE and the author of many successful IT textbooks and commercial teaching materials. 

When I retired as a headteacher, I wanted to continue guiding people to make a positive difference in their lives. I decided to make my hypnosis pastime my new profession. I studied hypnosis with the Mike Mandel Hypnosis Academy (MMHA) based in Toronto, Canada. Mike is widely regarded as one of the world's greatest hypnotists and trainers with 18 nominations and 6 awards for excellence. 


I work face-to-face with clients from the West Midlands and North West of England. I also work online with clients around the world. I provide personalised clinical hypnosis sessions to bring about positive changes in the lives of my clients.

We all experience hypnotic trance every day when we daydream or ‘let our mind wander’ doing everyday activities such as cooking, driving, reading, or exercising. In this state of mind our unconscious mind becomes more accessible and, along with our conscious mind, more open to change.
