What Is Mindscaping?
Mindscaping is a proven powerful hypnotic method that allows your unconscious mind to reveal its internal maps as symbolic landscapes. Instead of talking about your challenges, you’ll experience them as features in one of these landscapes. By manipulating these features you can create real and lasting change to almost any aspect of your life.
Your unconscious mind knows exactly what needs to change. Mindscaping simply gives it a way to show you.
This isn’t simply guided visualisation or conscious imagination. This is your unconscious mind communicating in its own symbolic language — and responding instantly to the changes you make.
What to Expect During a Mindscaping Session
Settling In
We'll start by guiding you into a relaxed, focused state where you can easily access your unconscious mind. This isn’t a deep hypnotic trance. It’s a comfortable, creative state where your unconscious mind can easily communicate with you. You’ll remain aware and able to speak — in fact, you’ll need to describe what you’re experiencing throughout the session.​

Exploring Your Inner Map
Your unconscious will present you with a landscape — a three-dimensional world that represents the issue you want to work on. What appears is often surprising in its accuracy and detail. You might see natural features like mountains, rivers, or forests. You might see buildings, roads, or structures. Some clients experience weather patterns or unusual symbolic elements. I’ll ask you questions about what you’re experiencing, and together we’ll explore this internal world. Your unconscious mind knows exactly what to show you and where to guide your attention. ​

Change and Transformation
Once we are clear on what your unconscious is showing you, the real work begins. We'll work directly with your unconscious mind to make changes to the symbolic representations in your landscape. We won't need to interpret what anything means, just make changes and see how they feel. If the changes feel good we'll keep them, and if they don't we'll undo them. Some changes will be subtle while others will seem more dramatic. All of them happen at a level deeper than conscious thought — which is why they tend to stick. It's through the changes that you make that the transformation happens. Throughout this process, you’re completely in control. I’m simply facilitating the conversation between your conscious and unconscious mind.​

Completion and Integration
We’ll make sure you’re properly oriented and fully integrated with all the changes you’ve made. I’ll remind you that these transformations will continue developing in the days following our session.
Then you’ll return to normal waking awareness, feeling alert and often noticeably different from when we started.
